On page five of the business section of today's Telegraph there's an interesting quote from Ian Powell, the UK chair of Price Waterhouse Coopers. He says that although the UK is a bright spot for growth and investment, "British businesses cannot afford to ignore cyber risks any longer".
We obviously find the quote interesting since we're having more meaningful discussions with businesses that are no longer allowed to ignore the very same cyber risks. Obviously, all the breaches of 2015 play into this and now that Mr Powell has publically suggested it should be a priority for 2016, it is for corporate UK to acknowledge and respond with positive action.
