4. Virtual Appliance Initial Configuration

Once the virtual appliance has been successfully installed, you will need to do the following to get you started and logged onto the Web Management Interface on the virtual appliance.

  1. Make sure the virtual appliance is switched on and make a note of its virtual appliance ip address.

  2. To install the PxM Client, see installation instruction as follows:

  3. Open the client and login using the following credentials:

    • Address: <HTTPS PxM ip address>
    • Username: superadmin
    • Password: <Primary SuperAdmin password, entered during setup>


    You may be required to confirm that the PxM Virtual Appliance fingerprint is correct before you can continue. The PxM Virtual Appliance fingerprint can be found on the page you download the PxM Client from.

  4. Within the client window, double-click Browser (HTTP) under Osirium Server. The Web Management Interface will open in a browser window.

  5. Within the Welcome to the PxM Platform window, you will be asked to upload a valid PxM licence. Click Browse and locate the licence file provided by Osirium.

  6. Once the licence file has been selected, click Upload.

  7. Within the Action notifications window, click Acknowledge. Wait while the browser refreshes.

  8. Within the Welcome to Osirium page, click Template Library to upload the latest templates. You are now ready to start using Osirium.

  9. Complete the following tasks as necessary:

    • Create a user.
