Osirium commits to new UK headquarters

Reading, UK – 25th April 2017: Osirium Technologies plc (AIM: OSI.L), a UK-based cyber-security software provider, has today committed to UK expansion plans by securing new headquarters in Theale, in the Thames Valley region of Berkshire. Theale is also where the company was originally founded.

“There were multiple considerations to take into account before moving,” said David Guyatt, CEO at Osirium. “We have an incredible pool of talent within the company, so staff retention was a critical factor. Secondly, the infrastructure in this area is exceptional, which is one of the reasons why the technology sector is thriving here. We are in very good company with many major global brands as neighbours. We expect the UK market to really open up for Osirium this year, and with European expansion plans well underway, we wanted to be in a central location to remain responsive to opportunities.”

Osirium is following an aggressive growth curve this year, having already made a number of senior appointments, and kick-starting a global channel programme to further accelerate brand awareness and quickly increase current routes to market.

“This is an exciting time for the business,” continued Guyatt. “Stakeholders are fully on board and the company is going from strength to strength. I am confident that a recent combination of positive events, and outcomes, will propel the company to new heights, whilst retaining our practical and consistent approach with the company’s direction.”

In line with its global plans, Osirium has also confirmed expansion of its PxM Platform support infrastructure, which is now capable of providing 24×7 “follow-the-sun” support to customers and partners..

About Osirium’s PxM Platform

The PxM Platform protects critical IT assets, infrastructures and devices by preventing targeted cyber-attacks from directly accessing Privileged Accounts, removing uncessary access and powers of Privileged Account users, deterring legitimate Privileged Account users from abusing their roles and containing the effects of a breach if one does happen.

The team has developed the concept of Virtual Air Gap to separate users from passwords, with the Platforms’s Privileged Task Management module further strengthening Privileged Account security and delivering impressive return on investment (“ROI”) for customers.
