Osirium launches PxM Express

Reading, UK – 6th December 2017: Osirium Technologies plc, (AIM: OSI.L), a UK headquartered cyber-security Software-as-a-Service (“SaaS”) provider, has today announced the release of their new product PxM Express product.

A ‘no cost’ offering, PxM Express is a scaled down version of Osirium’s PxM Platform.  It has been designed to provide privileged access management (PAM) to businesses with up to 25 servers or network devices, but can also be deployed by larger organisations looking to experience and understand the tangible benefits that PAM can bring, prior to investing.

“Protecting an organisation from increasing IT threats is vital, but the cyber-security market is saturated with products and implementing new software solutions can be daunting,” said David Guyatt, CEO at Osirium.  “There’s a reason Gartner call us a ‘Cool Vendor’ – we have changed the entry to market.  All you need now are the products you already have as PxM Express will integrate seamlessly and provide a new level of increased security, compliance and functionality.”

PxM Express ensures that privileged account credentials never exist upon the users’ workstation, making interception an impossibility.  It also enables organisations to pro-actively monitor and meet security and compliance requirements by defining who gets access to what and when.  No changes to existing IT infrastructures are required.

Targetfollow Estates Limited has taken the opportunity to sign up. “We chose Osirium’s PxM Express solution to remove the risk of our privileged accounts being compromised internally, or by external threats,” explained Kevin Holland, IT Manager at Targetfollow Estates.

Deployment of PxM Express is quick and hassle-free, with installation typically taking less than 8 minutes. If users do experience any issues, Osirium’s support team is available to contact free of charge. The PxM Express offering covers up to 25 servers or network devices across the customers’ IT estate and, if an upgrade is needed, these 25 servers or network devices are comprehensively covered.  The perpetual licensing model also means that from the moment devices are imported, they are covered – forever.

“Unmanaged, unmonitored privileged accounts open a ‘barn door’ in to a business,” added Guyatt.  “Third parties and employees can compromise sensitive data and potentially execute cyber-attacks from within. Damage a to business, and its reputation, can be catastrophic but this is an issue easily solved and we are leading the way.”
