Located in Theale, near Reading and working with industry veterans of several brand-leading IT security companies, this is a rare opportunity to join a world-class technology team, developing the next generation of cyber-security solutions.

This position has been created to support the company’s growth strategy and will be primarily focused on supporting the sales team in driving new business primarily through proactive engagement with prospects.


The pre-sales engineer will be responsible for engaging prospects on first and second meetings, being present to demonstrate the power of the PXM Platform, answering technical questions, and qualifying customer requirements alongside the sales staff.  The pre-sales engineer will also be responsible for managing the PoC process with prospects and ensuring customer satisfaction with the technology throughout the sales and testing phase.

Key Accountabilities

    • Perform presentations and follow-up with prospective customers in the UK market
    • Assess the needs and uncover requirements for our solutions
    • Demonstrate products to technical and non-technical audiences
    • Respond to proposals and RFIs/RFPs
    • Deployment and management of customer PoCs
    • Working with the sales team to convert prospects to customers
    • Share market and product requirements based on field experience
    • Work as part of a sales team toward reaching quarterly territory sales quota
    • Train customers and partners on Osirium products
    • Train channel partners

Non Technical:

    • Pre-sales or consulting skills
    • Outstanding communication skills with technical and non-technical audience
    • Must have at least 3 years proven experience dealing with or working for enterprise customers
    • Must have proven organization skills
    • Must be focused and have great attention to detail
    • Must have good written communication skills


    • Experience with privileged access management or identity and access management technology preferred
    • Familiarity with Microsoft Active Directory
    • Experience of regulatory compliance such as Cyber Essentials, PCI DSS, SANS
    • Familiarity with service desk and network administration environments
    • A broad understanding of cyber security concepts
    • Should have an understanding of networking technologies, such as DNS, TCP/IP, Routing
