MAP Server prerequisites

Before starting your deployment take note of the following prerequisites.

Prerequisite Description
PAM Server Firstly you will need a PAM Server to add your MAP Server to once it has been installed and configured.
Hardware & Software Ensure the below resources are available before deploying:

  • Min 4 CPU cores.
  • Min 16 GB RAM.
  • ‘Fast’ disk.
  • Windows Server 2019 or higher (set as English language).
  • Microsoft .NET Framework 4.5.2.

  • Legal notices and messages of the day should be turned off. Instead, you can use the Session recording terms of use which can be set through the Admin Interface. See Administrators Guide for instructions on how this can be set.
Licencing The licence requirements for adding MAP Servers to your PAM Server need to be included in your main licence which is uploaded through the Admin Interface.

On the System configuration > Licencing tab of the Admin Interface you can check if your current licence allows MAP Servers to be added and the maximum number that can be added for use.

If you do not have a valid license file contact Osirium.
