Reinstating a failed PAM UI Server

Restore procedure

• VM Level Backup
  In the event of an unrecoverable failure, reinstate the PAM UI Server by restoring your most recent VM level backup.

• Re-installing
  If a VM Level backup is not available, then you must redeploy the PAM UI Server.
  Before redeploying we recommend that the failed PAM UI Server is powered off.

Post restore tasks

Before allowing users to reconnect to the PAM UI Server:

Post upgrade task	Description
Check user connections	Check users can connect to devices.
Provide new connection details	If you have deployed the PAM UI Server using a different IP address, provide users with the new connection details.
Backup	Take a VM level backup of the PAM UI Server.
